Their passion to create quality food and commitment to genuine service resulted in the bakery expanding and flourishing!

Since buying the bakery in 2015, the passionate team behind those delicious treats grew exponentially!

“Buying the bakery was a complete step of faith. And as always, God provided powerfully”.

A normal work day starts at 4am when the first batch of delicious breads are pushed into the oven. From the moment the bakery opens its doors in the early hours of the morning until closing time, there is hardly ever a quiet time. The bakery is a constant hussle of large orders being collected, returning customers coming to buy their favourite treats and passersby being lured in by the delicious smells.

Morne enjoys being creative in the kitchen, always trying out new products and surprising customers with an ever evolving list of delicious treats.

In their free time Morne and Lantie makes a mean mountain biking team. Together they have conquered many challenging races including the Trans Baviaans

One thing is certain: This husband-and-wife team never shy away from a challenge or hard work. They are the pillars that keep Loerie Bakery running like a well-oiled machine.
